Elena <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El cancer de mama es la neoplasia mas frecuente en la mujer, pudiendo estar relacionada con genes de susceptibilidad como el gen brcai. En nuestro estudio, hemos detestado un 11%,2% de las familias analizadas, con mutaciones en linea germinal en el gen brcai, y un 15% de los miembros sanos de estas familias fueron identificados como posibles portadores de mutaciones, este grupo forma una poblacion seleccionada para el dise\u00f1o de estudios prospectivos dirigidos a la prevencion del cancer de mama. En el estudio de cancer de mama esporadico hemos encontrado una tasa del 5,7% de mutaciones germinales en dicho gen; presentando este grupo una supervivencia mas prolongada que las pacientes sin mutaciones en linea germinal. La tasa de perdida alelica en la region 17q21 en pacientes con cancer de mama esporadico fue del 21%, presentando este grupo menor tasa de recaidas tras recibir cirugia y quimioterapia coadyuvante, que las pacientes que no presentaron dicha perdida alelica.
