Dos tipos de moleculas se transportan del citoplasma al nucleo: proteinas nucleares y las particulas peque\u00f1as nucleares de ribonucleoproteinas implicadas en la maduracion del mrna (u snrnps). En esta tesis se ha estudiado el transporte de u snrnps mediante el uso de un sistema in vitro. En este trabajo he mostrado que el transporte de snrnps requiere rantc4, una gtpasa implicada en el transporte de proteinas, y requiere importin beta, factor que participa en el proceso de anclaje de la proteina nuclear al poro nuclear. Importin alfa, el receptor de la se\u00f1al de localizacion nuclear (nls) en proteinas, no participa en el transporte de u snrnps al nucleo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
