Es necesario mantener una velocidad de congelacion constante (1-2 grados c). Por este motivo se utilizan congeladores programables de nitrogeno liquido que aseguran una velocidad de enfriamiento constante.  segun nuestra hipotesis de trabajo, la inmersion de la solucion de cph a congelar en un ba\u00f1o de metanol e introducidas directamente en un congelador mecanico a -80 grados c lograria velocidades de enfriamientos constantes (1-1,5 grados c\/min) independientemente del volumen de las cph. La utilizacion de dmso al 10% como unico crioprotector es satisfactoria. La resolucion de esta hiotesis se realiza en dos fases, una primera experimental donde se determina la velocidad de enfriamiento de las cph, y una segunda fase clinica con la realizacion de trasplantes autologos.  la representacion grafica de las velocidades de enfriamiento de los diferentes volumenes de cph introducidos directamente en un congelador mecanico a -80 grados c (sin metanol) muestra una dispersion de dichas velocidades de enfriamiento. La inmersion en metanol de las cph muestra un efecto homogeneizador en la velocidad de enfriamiento (1-1,5 grados c\/min).  la inmersion en ba\u00f1o de metanol de la solucion de cph homogeneiza la velocidad de enfriamiento entre los diferentes volumenes a congelar. La utilizacion de plasma autologo y dmso es satisfactoria. Los resultados clinicos referidos a morbimortalidad peritransplante son similares a las referidas en series de enfermos transplantados con cph congeladas mediante congelacion programada. La congelacion no programada mediante inmersion en ba\u00f1o de metanol utilizando plasma autologo y dmso es una tecnica sencilla, que no ocupa mas de 30 minutos, y aplicable de forma satisfactoria en
