La complejidad de las ecuaciones que conforman el modelo requiere la resolucion numerica; para lo cual se realizo el desarrollo de un codigo numerico en el esquema de los elementos finitos.  la comparacion de los resultados experimentales y la simulacion numerica ha aportado una informacion importante en la determinacion de los fenomenos de transporte de energia que tienen un papel relevante en la morfolog\u00eda del criatal y el frente de solidificacion; asi como sobre la aparicion de precipitados bajo determinadas condiciones de conveccion en el fundido.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
