La primera parte de la tesis estudia la dispersion (scattering) rayleigh y mie en la atmosfera. Se estiman los parametros opticos de extincion y retrodispersion (backscattering) a fin de estimar el balance de potencia del enlace y se especifica tecnicamente el sistema. La segunda parte comprende el dise\u00f1o e implementacion de un novedoso receptor optoelectronico y de los subsistemas de sincronizacion y control.  en la tercera parte se dise\u00f1an novedosos algoritmos de inversion de los parametros opticos atmosfericos mediante tecnicas sin y con memoria. Los algoritmos sin memoria se basan en tecnicas de regresion y optimizacion multiobjetivo. Los algoritmos con memoria se basan en modelos estocasticos atmosfericos y en filtrado de kalman no lineal.  finalmente, se presentan diferentes campa\u00f1as de medidas con el sistema y los perfiles atmosfericos invertidos con los algoritmos desarrollados. Las medidas comprenden estudios transmisometricos y de observacion de nubes (ceilometria y medidas absolutas de extincion).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
