Entre estos micropotenciales caben destacar los denominados potenciales ventriculares tardios, de gran interes clinico, pues constituyen un indicador de riesgo de sufrir una arritmia ventricular en pacientes que han sufrido un infarto de miocardio.  el objetivo principal de la tesis es el analisis y la reduccion del ruido en la electrocardiografia de alta resolucion con el proposito de mejorar la deteccion de los potenciales ventriculares tardios. La hipotesis es que un cuidadoso analisis del ruido y de las tecnicas empleadas actualmente para su reduccion permitira proponer mejoras a dichas tecnicas. Tambien se ha analizado y se han propuesto tecnicas de reduccion del ruido electronico del sistema de adquisicion, demostrando que resistencias de valor mas elevado no introducen necesariamente mas
