El proceso de ingenieria de dominio cubre todas las actividades para construir un nucleo de software comun para una familia de sistemas.  en esta tesis, se propone una arquitectura de referencia para los sistemas de teleoperacion, de forma que pueda ser facilmente adaptada a distintos trabajos, entornos e incluso robots. Para ello, se han seguido las pautas del proceso de ingenieria de dominio.  por otro lado, al tratarse de un sistema de tiempo real los plazos de respuesta deben estar garantizados. El metodo rate monotonic analysis permite analizar el comportamiento temporal del sistema, si se establecen ciertas condiciones. De esta manera, se ofrece una arquitectura generica para el dominio de los sistemas de teleoperacion y un marco de trabajo para analizar la capacidad de la misma de cumplir los requisitos temporales
