El absorbedor tiene gran influencia en las prestaciones del conjunto, se describen los distintos tipos y sus caracteristicas principales.  se efectua un analisis teorico y experimental de las posibilidades de empleo de los absorbedores de tubos verticales de flujo bifasico en maquinas de absorcion, desarrollando un modelo matematico que permite simular su funcionamiento.  se comparan este tipo de absorbedores con los de pelicula liquida habitualmente empleados en las realizaciones practicas actuales y se establece su posible campo de aplicacion.  se describe la instalacion experimental de ensayo de absorbedores, los absorbedores empleados y los ensayos realizados. Se comparan posteriormente los modelos con los resultados experimentales, y se establecen las reglas de dise\u00f1o resultantes.
