El analisis teorico se aborda con la ayuda de la mecanica de la fractura aplicada al hormigon, particularmente del modelo de fisura cohesiva, y los nuevos modelos desarrollados tienen en cuenta de modo objetivo y preciso la adherencia que tiene lugar entre el acero y el hormigon. El programa experimental demuestra que estos modelos captan el efecto de escala y predicen adecuadamente el comportamiento de las vigas ensayadas en todas la fases de su proceso de fractura. Finalmente, a partir de dichos modelos se ha deducido una nueva formula para obtener la cuantia minima; sus resultados se comparan con las cuantias minimas recomendadas por las normas de construccion y permiten afirmar que es necesario revisar estas recomendaciones en busca de estructuras mas seguras y economicas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
