Se han propuesto modelos macroscopicos para el flujo de gas en spouted bed y en jet spouted bed. Se ha hecho un estudio del efecto sobre el modulo de dispersion de los factores geometricos del sistema contactor-entrada, del diametro de particula y de la velocidad del aire a la entrada.  el estudio del flujo de solido ha consistido en: la delimitacion de la zona de spout, la medida de la porosidad local en diferentes regiones del lecho, la medida local de la velocidad de particulas y la definicion de las trayectorias y ciclos que son descritos preferentemente por las particulas.  se han propuesto correlaciones fluidodinamicas para mezclas, en funcion de los factores geometricos del contactor y de las condiciones de operacion.
