Consuelo <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los cinamilfenoles son compuestos bicromoforicos versatiles en los que, dependiendo de la sustitucion, se pueden reproducir a eleccion procesos de transferencia de proton, de electron o de energia. Los espectros de absorcion de los cinamilfenoles coinciden con los que resultan de la superposicion de sus componentes cromoforicos, y los espectros de fluorescencia a temperatura ambiente en disolvente apolar coinciden en forma y posicion de las bandas con los del cromoforo de mas baja energia. La fotociclacion de cinamilfenoles via transferencia de proton en el estado excitado conduce a dihidrobenzofuranos (desde el singlete fenolico) y a dihidrobenzopiranos (desde el singlete estirenico). La relacion entre ambos productos depende de la energia relativa de ambos cromoforos, predominando los productos que provienen de los singletes de mas baja energia. La fotociclacion de cinamilfenoles via transferencia electronica conduce unicamente a dihidrobenzopiranos. La fotoisomerizacion del doble enlace, para dar lugar a los cis-cinamilfenoles, tiene lugar desde triplete estirenico.
