En la tesis se proponer la utilizacion de aplicadores de microondas o de radio-frecuencia para la realizacion de dichos procesos. Para determinar la viabilidad de la propuesta se desarrolla una formulacion y se implementan unos programas que permiten la simulacion del proceso electromagnetico termico que tiene lugar en el interior del horno. La ecuacion diferencial de la temperatura se resuelve aplicando elementos finitos y deferencias ninitas, mientras que las ecuaciones de maxwell se resuelven bien por analisis modal o mediante el
