La primera parte contiene una discusion del status quaestionis, un estudio de las fuentes griegas, latinas y coptas (hersiologicas y nag hammadi), asi como la descripcion del marco conceptual que luego viene aplicado en el resto del trabajo, y que el autor califica como \u00abmecanismo victimario\u00bb. La 2 parte contiene el analisis de la metafisica valentiniana: en ella se muestra como los distintos momentos logicos del mecanismo victimario son aplicables punto por punto en la descripcion estructural de la protolog\u00eda gnostica. En la 3 parte se evidencian los paralelismos entre la comprension de la subjetividad protologica y la subjetividad humana, poniendose de relieve igualmente que es el afan por realizar una antropodicea lo que determina la teodicea gnostica. En la 4 parte se analizan, a la luz de los resultados de la anterior investigacion, diversas quaestiones disputatae en la gnosisforschung: la tension dualismo-monismo, la polemica sobre el caracter
