Paz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A partir de un corpus de 163 poemas de 51 autores, pertenecientes a la ilustracion, el romanticismo y las escuelas poeticas posromanticas, en la primera parte, se establecen las caracteristicas que definen la despedida como subgenero elegiaco, que alcanzo su plena madurez en el periodo posromantico y que, sin solucion de continuidad, se mantiene vigente hasta nuestros dias; se analizan, ademas, los modelos literarios que dieron origen a dicho subgenero y las diversas modalidades en que se decanta su discurso poetico.En la segunda parte, se analizan los presupuestos intratextuales que determinan los cinco tipos basicos de despedida, su imaginario y los motivos topificados, los rasgos elocutivos definitorios y las principales formas metricas.Por ultimo, se analizan algunos ejemplos de parodias de despedida y se muestran algunos ejemplos del subgenero en el siglo xx.
