Se ha dise\u00f1ado y sintetizado una serie de entrenamiento de 32 compuestos de estructura mixta de biciclohidantoina- o dioxopiperazina-arilpiperazina. Mediante estudios de desplazamiento de radioligandos se ha determinado la afinidad de los compuestos sintetizados por los receptores 5-ht1a y alfa-1. La mayoria de los compuestos han mostrado de moderada a alta afinidad por ambos receptores. Se han llevado a cabo estudios de rellacion estructura-actividad por ambos receptores utilizando la metodolog\u00eda qsar clasica y las redes neuronales. Ambos analisis han conducido a modelos predictivos, que han permitido optimizar la selectividad por el receptor 5-ht1a. Por otro lado, se han dise\u00f1ado una serie de estructuras mixtas de biclohidantoina-aril o heteroarilpiperazina, en las que para espaciadores optimos en el receptor 5-ht1a (n=1,4), se aumenta el volumen del farmacoforo.
