Las influencias que ejercieron estas culturas desde el momento de gestacion de su sistema filosofico (hacia 1814) fueron decisivas para su desarrollo y son todavia importantes para una comprension adecuada de la obra de este autor, en especial para su teoria etica, y dentro de esta, para su concepcion de la negacion de la voluntad.  se analizan las alusiones explicitas de schopenhauer a las doctrinas orientales en el conjunto de su obra (incluyendo su obra postuma), y se concluye con una valoracion de su aproximacion a la filosofia de oriente, demostrando que cabe considerarlo como la primera confluencia importante entre la tradicion europea y la tradicion india, asi como un puente hermeneutico entre ambas culturas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
