presencia y evolucion de dicho genero en los distintos movimientos artisticos y corrientes esteticas, el grado de implantacion que tuvo en cada uno de ellos y su valoracion por la teoria artistica y la critica de cada momento; todo ello, en consonancia con los grandes cambios y transformaciones sociopoliticas y culturales, con un tratamiento multiple e integrador de la obra de arte.Revela el arraigo e importancia que este genero ha tenido en nuestra pintura y su valor documental, tanto historico como estetico, demostrando como, a traves de el, puede seguirse el curso de la pintura
