Se estudia en profundidad el metodo de microencapsulacion (emulsion-evaporacion del disolvente), delimitandose la zona de formacion de microparticulas y analizandose la influencia de los factores de preparacion. A partir de los datos anteriores se seleccionaron las condiciones adecuadas para la elaboracion de una formulacion de tama\u00f1o inferior a 5 m, disponible para su administracion oral. Se determino su tama\u00f1o y morfolog\u00eda, capacidad de encapsulacion y las caracteristicas de la asociacion principio activo-polimero. Seguidamente se estudio su cinetica de liberacion invitro, comparandose frente a una formulacion de referencia (emulsion de la solucion oleosa comercial en leche entera) y su estabilidad, en diferentes condiciones: suspensiones a temperatura ambiente y refrigeradas y en forma liofilizada. Finalmente, se llevo a cabo un estudio biofarmaceutico de la formulacion microencapsulada y la de referencia tras su administracion oral en regimen de dosificacion unica y multiple (3 y 21 dias).
