Ha profundizado en los mecanismos intracelulares involucrados en dicha accion. Y ha establecido la gran importancia del calcio como segundo mensajero en la modulacion realizada por las hormonas anteriores.  ha resaltado, asimismo, la importancia del metodo de deteccion de calcio y como la no utilizacion de tampones con co2 y mg y temperatura a 37 c altera la se\u00f1al de calcio.  concluye que:  1.- La anginina vasopresina estimula la reabsorcion de sodio mediante la via clasica de activacion del calcio, proteina gq, fosfolipasa cbeta, e inositol trifosfato y diacilglicerol, y no mediante ampc.  2.- La adenosina estimula la reabsorcion de sodio mediante la activacion de un receptor al y la misma via clasica de activacion del calcio ya mencionada.  3.- La hormona paratiroidea estimula la reabsorcion del sodio mediante ampc y mediante la entrada de calcio desde el exterior celular, a traves de canales de calcio voltaje dependientes.  4.- La insulina estimula la reabsorcion de sodio mediante calcio intramuscular. Este se eleva por la accion de inositol trifosfato producido por fosfolipasa cgamma, activada tras la dimerizacion y autofosforilacion del receptor de insulina con actividad tirosin
