En el presente trabajo, se ha utilizado los eritrocitos como portadores de enzimas capaces de actuar como autenticos sistemas fisiologicos con capacidad terapeutica. La encapsulacion de estas enzimas se realizo mediante el metodo de dialisis hipotonica\/resellado isotonico. Las enzimas seleccionadas fueron: la adh, responsable principal de la oxidacion del etanol y en consecuencia enzima capaz de degradar concentraciones elevadas de etanol en sangre circulante. Y la gdh, una de las rutas posibles de utilizacion de amonio cuando se encuentra a concentracion elevada en el organismo. Con estos eritrocitos encapsulados se realizaron estudios \u00abin vitro\u00bb para conocer los rendimientos de encapsulacion, parametros hematologicos y estabilidad y liberacion de las enzimas. Estudios \u00bb ex vivo\u00bb e \u00abin vivo\u00bb para comprobar la capacidad de estas enzimas para eliminar sus sustratos especificos.  la presente tesis doctoral demuestra que estos eritrocitos
