Esta reaccion se materializo en diversos escritos, entre los que destaca el comentario a la carta a los romanos, tanto la primera edicion de 1919, como la segunda de 1922. Esta segunda edicion de la romerbrief fue replanteada practicamente en su totalidad, no tanto debido a las criticas que habia recibido, sino para reafirmar aun mas su postura en contra de la teolog\u00eda de schleiermacher, considerado como el principal inspirador de la teolog\u00eda liberal. La teoria barthiana de la religion se encuentra formulada principalmente en el paragrafo \u00e9 17 de la dogmatica eclesial y en la romerbrief, especialmente en la segunda edicion.  la posicion de karl barth en torno a las religiones inspira una peculiar concepcion del mensaje cristiano en cuanto \u00abpalabra\u00bb salvadora dirigida a todos los hombres.  esta concepcion influye en el planteamiento de la teolog\u00eda de las misiones, que es, por expreso mandato divino, una dimension esencial del ser de la iglesia. La postura barthiana esta marcada por el deber de predicar integramente la \u00abpalabra de dios\u00bb y, al mismo tiempo, por un juicio severo sobre los intentos de adaptacion que puedan afectar la fidelidad al evangelio.  esta postura ha sido objeto de vivos cuestionamientos, no solo desde ambitos catolicos, sino tambien dentro de la misma teolog\u00eda protestante. La reaccion se ha ido amplificando y no es raro que el pensamiento de barth sirva actualmente de contraste a ciertas corrientes de la \u00abteolog\u00eda de las religiones\u00bb, que le reprochan, de diversa manera, el afirmar de modo exclusivo la verdad de la religion cristiana, y de cerrar las posibilidades de dialogo con las demas religiones. Precisamente por esto la tradicion barthiana ha sido calificada de \u00abexclusivista\u00bb, en cuanto al valor salvifico de las religiones.  hay que reconocer, sin embargo, la contribucion que ha
