En el capitulo segundo se estudia el origen y la formulacion del argumento ontologico modal de alvin plantinga. Se examina la maxima grandeza. Su peculiaridad reside en la concreta relacion que establece entre los atributos divinos y la existencia necesaria. Ademas se concluye que el argumento es logicamente valido. El capitulo tercero estudia la premisa central del argumento ontologico: la posibilidad de la maxima trascendencia de dios y como se han de reinterpretar desde ella los atributos de dios. En segundo lugar, se muestra que el argumento ontologico modal sufre de un irremediable defecto epistemologico.
