Ricoeur, procuramos remarcar la importancia de los conceptos \u00abunidad\u00bb y \u00abalteridad\u00bb de cara a la elaboracion de una antropolog\u00eda, ya sea esta filosofica, teologica o, mas en concreto etico-moral.  comenzamos nuestro estudio con una breve semblanza historica respecto a los diferentes enfoques desde los que se han estudiado estos conceptos. A ello a\u00f1adimos una presentacion del itinerario personal e intelectual de ricoeur en la que se refleja su talante constantemente vocacionado hacia la unidad e integracion de lo diverso.  en el segundo capitulo vemos la relacion unidad\/alteridad desde la perspectiva de los analisis de ricoeur sobre el caracter, el inconsciente y la vida. La unidad de la persona en cuanto que actua es el centro de nuestras miradas en el tercer capitulo.
