La aplicacion de este metodo pone de manifiesto los rasgos mas sobresalientes de la recreacion literaria hecha por el escritor.  se une a estas aportaciones un apendice que presenta, clasificados segun los tipos a los que corresponden, 299 cuentos folcloricos reelaborados por escritores del siglo xix, que desarrollan 199 tipos, y que contiene los datos bibliograficos de caracter folclorico de
