Para el caso de muestras granuladas de superficies de reflexion de orientacion aleatoria se utiliza la denominada superficie indicatriz de reflectancia natural (s.I.R.N.). Los medios uniaxicos transparentes, tanto uniaxicos como biaxicos pueden ser analizados conociendo los parametros estadisticos de la s.I.R.N. Se encuentran las expresiones que relacionan estos parametros con los indices de refraccion del medio incidente y los indices principales del medio bajo observacion. Se comprueba la validez de tales expresiones mediante la aplicacion del metodo en el laboratorio para dos medios uniaxicos y dos biaxicos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
