Dentro de las numerosas tecnicas de control que existen se han escogido, por su sencillez de impementacion, las tecnicas escalares para realizar un exhaustivo estudio de sus prestaciones tanto en condiciones \u00abideales\u00bb como frente a perturbaciones. A partir de este estudio se ha evidenciado los inconvenientes de las diferentes tecnicas de control existentes. En este trabajo se presenta una nueva filosofia de control, en la cual se controlan unicamente la corriente de dos fases. Al estar el neutro aislado la suma de las tres corrientes es igual a cero, por consiguiente, controlando la corriente de dos fases, la de la tercera queda controlada de forma natural. De esta forma queda el control de los interruptores de la tercera fase como un grado de libertad adicional que puede ser utilizado para controlar la tension del neutro-punto medio. Esta nueva filosofia de control ha sido aplicada tanto en el control por histeresis como en el control indirecto.
