El trabajo realizado en esta tesis consiste en el desarrollo teorico y posterior implementacion practica de una red neuronal, dotada de una topolog\u00eda especial que permite considerarla como un sistema borroso basado en reglas si-entonces. A este sistema neuroborroso se le denomino finn (fuzzy interpretable neural network), y tiene la capacidad de utilizar todo el conocimiento disponible, tanto numerico (contenido en los ejemplos de aprendizaje) como heuristico (conocimiento experto de un operario humano).  tras el aprendizaje, ademas, se obtiene el comportamiento del controlador expresado en forma de reglas borrosas de facil interpretacion. En la tesis se estudian tambien diversas simplificaciones en la estructura de la red que facilitan su manejo, asi como varios metodos para la inicializacion de los pesos de la red que reducen de manera significativa el tiempo empleado en el aprendizaje. Por ultimo, se muestran varios casos practicos, simulados y reales, en los que la red finn se utiliza como controlador dentro de un metodo neuroborroso para imitar y mejorar controladores de una
