El autor estudia tanto el regimen estacionario como el dinamico, por una parte, los efectos no-lineales en heteroestructuras semiconductoras, por otra, y finalmente, las posibles aplicaciones tecnologicas de heteroestructuras con desorden intencionado.  despues de introducir el tema con la explicacion de conceptos y de las herramientas matematicas que el autor va a utilizar, se pasa a estudiar el modelo rdm continuo.  posteriormente se centra en las propiedades de las superredes con desorden intencionado y sus posibles aplicaciones practicas.  el autor llega a dos conclusiones principales. Por un lado, el modelo \u00abrandom dimer continuo\u00bb (rdmc) demuestra que en sistemas realistas con desorden correlacionado cabe esperar la presencia de un numero de estados deslocalizados. El autor demuestra que en superredes semiconductoras estos estados se manifiestan produciendo un incremento de la conductancia cuando el potencial quimico toma valores cercanos a los de la resonancia. En segundo lugar, se demuestra que en la rapida destruccion de las oscilaciones de bloch intervienen los defectos interfaciales que aparecen durante el crecimiento de la muestra.  se presentan tres metodos. Uno para determinar el tiempo de transmision de una heteroestructura, y dos modelos no lineales para el estudio de continuos de nanoestructuras semiconductoras.  el trabajo se acompa\u00f1a de
