Para ello se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de diferentes metodolog\u00edas sinteticas de formacion de enlaces c-c.  por otro lado, se han dise\u00f1ado y sintetizado una serie de nuevos retinoides con importantes alteraciones en la distribucion electronica del polieno con el fin de estudiar los requerimientos estericos y electronicos del centro activo de la proteina bacteriorrodopsina.  estos analogos han permitido explorar el espacio esterico del bolsillo de union al cromoforo en bacteriorrodopsina e investigar la aplicacion de los complejos retinal-proteina en el desarrollo de nuevos
