En primer lugar se describe la sintesis de un nuevo ligando ditiol quiral y se lleva a cabo la sintesis y caracterizacion de complejos de rh(i), ir(i) y pt (ii).  se estudia la actividad catalitica de los complejos de rh(i) y pt(ii) como precursores de catalizador en la hidroformilacion asimetrica de estireno. Con el objetivo de obtener mas informacion sobre las especies cataliticas activas en la hidroformilacion catalizada por complejos rh(i)\/ditiolato y difosfinas, se realiza un estudio detallado del comportamiento de estos sistemas bajo condiciones de hidroformilacion. Se realizo la caracterizacion de las especies en disolucion en estas condiciones mediante las tecnicas espectroscopicas de hpir y hpnmr.  se describe por ultimo, la sintesis de nuevos ligandos mixtos tioltioeter atropisomericos (binashr).
