Se ha elaborado un modelo matematico de ciclo de cogeneracion (formado por una turbina de gas y una caldera de recuperacion de calor con opcion de combustion adicional) y se ha integrado a un programa de calculo existente para la optimizacion de las condiciones de funcionamiento de redes de vapor tipicas. El criterio de optimizacion elegido consiste en una funcion objetivo economica que minimiza los costes de operacion de la propia instalacion. Se han realizado tres ejemplos de aplicacion que demuestran plenamente las posibilidades de este instrumento en el analisis de redes de vapor con cogeneracion de industrias de proceso.
