Se utilizan 174 huevos fecundados de la raza white leghorn, de los que 60 son incubados fuera del alcance del campo del cem y se consideran controles, y 114 se incuban de forma permanente bajo la influencia del cem y se consideran expuestos; la mitad a 18.1 mt y la otra mitad a 36.1 mt, se sacrifican a los 5, 10 y 15 dias. Se estudia estadio (hamburger hamilton), peso y talla de todos los embriones. Con respecto a estas variables, a los 5 dias no se presentan diferencias entre controles y expuestos.  sin embargo a los 10 y 15 dias los valores obtenidos son mayores en los expuestos que en los controles. Del estudio de los efectos de los cem sobre la morfolog\u00eda y desarrollo de la glandula pineal se ha podido constatar que a los 5 y 10 dias de desarrollo no existen diferencias en el tama\u00f1o y disposicion de la glandula y su luz entre los embriones controles y los expuestos. A los 15 dias, sin embargo, los resultados obtenidos muestran valores inferiores en los expuestos que en los controles. El efecto de los cem sobre la morfolog\u00eda, tama\u00f1o y distribucion de las vesiculas pineales, puede resumirse diciendo que, en general el grado de afectacion observado esta en relacion con la
