Esta geometria sin ninguna direccion privilegiada, exceptuando la vertical correspondiente al vector gravedad ha permitido caracterizar numericamente siete estructuras convectivas diferentes. Las transiciones de flujo observadas, asi como las caracteristicas topologicas y de transporte han sido estudiadas con detalle. La multiplicidad de soluciones, obtenida numericamente, del conjunto de ecuaciones que goviernan la transferencia de acuerdo con la hipotesis de boussinesq se ha verificado experimentalmente. Cinco de las siete estructuras han sido observadas y medidas en condiciones experimentales utilizando cavidades cubicas (l=12.5mm) y aceite de silicona como fluido (pr=130). Las velocidades medidas mediante la tecnica piv presentan muy buena concordancia con las predichas numericamente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
