El paso clave de la secuencia es una reaccion de cicloadicion 1,3-dipolar entre una nitrona ciclica y un ester o lactona alfa,beta-insaturada. Para llevar a cabo dicho proceso se han sintetizado una serie de dipolarofilos con la funcionalidad necesaria. Se ha estudiado en profundidad el curso regio- y estereoquimico de la cicloadicion. En este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo, asimismo, la asignacion estructural y estereoquimica completa, asi como un estudio conformacional exhaustivo, de los cicloaductos obtenidos. Finalmente, se ha avanzado una etapa mas en la secuencia sintetica propuesta. Para ello se han ensayado diversas metodolog\u00edas que permitieran la reduccion del enlace nitrogeno-oxigeno de las isoxazolidinas obtenidas en la etapa de cicloadicion 1,3-dipolar, anteriormente
