La asignacion se realiza manteniendo bajo control los requerimientos de calidad de servicio (qos), utilizaremos la probabilidad de congestion (pc) como parametro del estado de la red para asignar banda. Para lograrlo debemos relacionar la pc con los parametros de qos requeridos por los usuarios. Para obtener esta relacion de manera exacta se debe considerar, ademas de la pc, la duracion de las congestiones en un sentido estadistico.  si nos basamos en la pc y no consideramos la duracion del estado de congestion, estamos ignorando la presencia del buffer y los resultados obtenidos para relacionar pc y probabilidad de perdida de celdas (ploss) corresponden a un tama\u00f1o de buffer=0. Puesto que en atm no se puede considerar que en los modos no exista buffer, entonces el calculo obtenido en la relacion pc con ploss sera una aproximacion conservativa. No obstante, para buffers suficientemente peque\u00f1os es menos conservativa que otras, por ello apostamos por el uso de la pc para asignar banda.  el calculo de la pc es costoso, se ha de realizar por convolucion y requiere una gran cantidad de calculo y de memoria. Ademas es dificil retroceder en el estado del sistema (desconvolucion) y hay que reiniciar calculos desde el principio. Se proponen dos aportaciones en ese sentido:  1) la aplicacion de la funcion de distribucion multinacional para el calculo de la convolucion.  2) la introduccion de nuevas mejoras al algoritmo de calculo de la convolucion cuando este se aplica al caso concreto de control de admisiones (cac), ordenaciones parciales, cut-off, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
