El estudio va hasta la fecha limite de 1835, verdadero gozne entre los siglos xviii y xix, tanto por razones politicas e historicas como literarias. Se suma a estos criterios, ademas, el hecho de que a partir de aquella fecha tampoco se han encontrado mas traducciones (el autor vuelve a ser traducido a comienzos del siglo xx).  desde una perspectiva sociohistorica y cultural, se analizan las obras dentro del ambito de la cultura de recepcion, teniendo en cuenta los multiples factores que han influido en los textos y que los han modificado, a veces de forma muy notable, de tal manera que hemos de hablar ya de adaptaciones. De ahi que adquieran gran relevancia tanto los autores de las versiones como los actores que las habian de interpretar, sin dejar de lado condicionantes fundamentales como pueden ser: los teatros, el gusto del publico, la actitud de la critica, los generos en boga, la censura, la moral y las costumbres de la epoca, las satiras al uso, los convencionalismos, etc. Asi se estudian, dentro de este amplio marco y comparando a la vez con la obra original en su ambito de creacion original, las versiones que del teatro de marivaux hicieron tanto traductores anonimos como autores reconocidos en el ambito teatral: ramon de la cruz, felix de enciso y castrillon, breton de los herreros o leandro fernandez de moratin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
