Estos se aplicar\u00e1n para obtener modelos el\u00e1sticos y anel\u00e1sticos de la corteza y manto superior de dos regiones pertenecientes al dominio herciniano, comprendidas en la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e9rica. A partir de aqu\u00ed, se propone el m\u00e9todo de inversi\u00f3n m\u00e1s adecuado para este tipo de problemas geof\u00edsicos.  contenido: la tesis consta de dos partes. en la primera parte, se desarrollan las propiedades de las ondas de rayleigh y se deducen las f\u00f3rmulas te\u00f3ricas de inversi\u00f3n, causal y no causal. En al segunda parte, se aplican las t\u00e9cnicas de inversi\u00f3n y se realiza la comparaci\u00f3n de modelos el\u00e1sticos y anel\u00e1sticos. en el cap\u00edtulo 1, se presenta el objetivo de la tesis y se realiza una revisi\u00f3n tem\u00e1tica y cronol\u00f3gica de trabajos previos. en el cap\u00edtulo 2, se recopila toda la informaci\u00f3n geotect\u00f3nica y geof\u00edsica disponible. En el cap\u00edtulo 3, se desarrollan las propiedades b\u00e1sicas de las ondas de rayleigh para medios verticalmente inhomog\u00e9neos, sujetos a las condiciones de uan superficie libre, y se deducen las f\u00f3rmulas de dispensi\u00f3n, causal y no causal, que son utilizadas para la obtenci\u00f3n de modelos de la tierra. En el cap\u00edtulo 4, se desarrollan las f\u00f3rmulas te\u00f3ricas de los m\u00e9todos de inversi\u00f3n: estoc\u00e1stica, total y annealing simulado. Adem\u00e1s, se expone la generaci\u00f3n demodelos compatibles. En el cap\u00edtulo 5, se presenta la base de datos obtenida a partir del tratamiento de telesismos registrados en la pen\u00ednsula (iliha). Para obtener una regionalizaci\u00f3n objetiva, se han aplicado algoritmos de agrupamiento (pca y al) a las dispersiones de velocidades y atenuaci\u00f3n. en el cap\u00edtulo 6, se obtienen modelos de estructura el\u00e1stica y anel\u00e1stica, tomando en cuenta el efecto causal y no causal.
