Carmen Macias Perez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n se ha analizado la reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones de so2 con muestras cao\/carb\u00f3n activo. Se han estudiado en primer lugar variables que afectan a las propiedades del sorbente, como son el m\u00e9todo de preparaci\u00f3n, el porcentaje de calcio de la disoluci\u00f3n del precursor de calcio y el tipo de soporte.  el porcentaje de calcio que se introduce y la dispersi\u00f3n de cao dependen del m\u00e9todo de preparaci\u00f3n. El m\u00e9todo de preparaci\u00f3n, el contenido en calcio y el tipo de soporte afectan al porcentaje de calcio introducido y a la dispersi\u00f3n del cao; ambos par\u00e1metros afectan a su vez a la retenci\u00f3n de so2. La retenci\u00f3n de di\u00f3xido de azufre aumenta linealmente con el contenido en calcio, pero est\u00e1 afectada por la dispersi\u00f3n del cao. Los mayores porcentajes de calcio se obtienen con soportes que presenten una porosidad ancha (alto volumen de meso y macroporos).  en segundo lugar se han analizado variables relacionadas con el proceso de retenci\u00f3n. La temperatura de retenci\u00f3n afecta en gran medida: hasta 550 grados c se forma sulfito de calcio y a partir de dicha temperatura se produce la gasificaci\u00f3n del soporte con so2. Es posible regenerar parcialmente las muestras cao\/carb\u00f3n activo tras adsorber so2 mediante tratamiento t\u00e9rmico a 700 grados c en atm\u00f3sfera inerte; el \u00fanico problema es la formaci\u00f3n de cas.
