Oscilando el tiempo de conservaci\u00f3n dentro del banco entre 9-30 a\u00f1os. Se recolectaron adem\u00e1s semillas procedentes de las mismas poblaciones naturales con las cuales comparar a las conservadas en el banco. Se estudiaron un total de 30 muestras pertenecientes a 10 poblaciones con las que se estudiaron la viabilidad y el vigor de las semillas a trav\u00e9s de ensayos tradicionales:  capacidad germinativa, \u00edndice de vigor, e \u00edndice t50.  tambi\u00e9n se realizaron an\u00e1lisis isoenzim\u00e1ticos y an\u00e1lisis moleculares, determin\u00e1ndose con estos ensayos el porcentaje de semillas con actividad enzim\u00e1tica, frecuencias al\u00e9licas, y par\u00e1metros de diversidad gen\u00e9tica de cada muestra (p, he, hs, dst, y gst entre otros). Los resultados permitieron establecer la diversidad gen\u00e9tica contenida en las 30 muestras y avalar el buen funcionamiento de las t\u00e9cnicas de conservaci\u00f3n a largo plazo del banco de la e.T.S.I.A.
