Entre ellas, icam-3se expresa exclusiva y abudantemente en leucocitos, y su expresi\u00f3n se regula por un mecanismo de rotura proteol\u00edtica, existiendo una forma soluble en la sangre.  icam-3 es un ligando de la integrina lfa-1 que regula las interacciones y la activaci\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas t induciendo varios procesos, como adhesi\u00f3n homot\u00edpica, coestimulaci\u00f3n de linfocitos t activados o no y modulaci\u00f3n de la afinidad de las integrinas beta1 y beta2 por sus ligandos endoteliales o de matriz extracelular. Icam-3 regula la morfolog\u00eda celular induciendo polarizaci\u00f3n linfocitaria y su redistribuci\u00f3n al ur\u00f3podo o polo posterior. Otra mol\u00e9cula de adhesi\u00f3n de leucocitos, cd43, induce tambi\u00e9n un aumento de la afinidad de las integrinas y polarizaci\u00f3n de linfocitos t. Las quimioquinas son las principales reguladoras de la extravasaci\u00f3n leucocitaria hacia los tejidos inflamados, aunque no se conoce bien su mecanismo de acci\u00f3n. Las quimioquinas inducen la polarizaci\u00f3n celular y la redistribuci\u00f3n de receptores de adhesi\u00f3n (icam-1,-3, cd43 y cd44) al ur\u00f3podo durante la interacci\u00f3n de los linfocitos con el endotelio y con la matriz extracelular, y este fen\u00f3meno representa un mecanismo cooperativo en el reclutamiento linfocitario a los sitios de inflamaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
