En el mismo, un subproducto (lignina) es transformado mediante un proceso de s\u00edntesis qu\u00edmica (amoxidaci\u00f3n) en un fertilizante nitrogenado de liberaci\u00f3n lenta. La lignina fu\u00e9 aislada por precipitaci\u00f3n con una disoluci\u00f3n hidroalcoh\u00f3lica de calcio, obteni\u00e9ndose rendimientos superiores al 90% y considerando como variables la concentraci\u00f3n de lignina en la lej\u00eda negra, y la distribuci\u00f3n de masas moleculares de la lignina contenida en la misma. El producto aislado se purifica por tratamiento \u00e1cido y se consider\u00f3 como caracter\u00edsticas necesarias del sustrato, la presencia de cenizas, de calcio y la porosidad, para conseguir un m\u00e1ximo rendimiento en la amoxidaci\u00f3n. La lignina fu\u00e9 impregnada con un catalizador (i\u00f3n ferroso) y amoxidada con los reactivos m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micos en un reactor de leche fluidizado a temperatura variable. La fijaci\u00f3n del nitrogeno al producto fu\u00e9 del 17,5%. Se comprob\u00f3 la capacidad fertilizante del producto de s\u00edntesis frente al lolium perenne. Adem\u00e1s de mostrar una baja capacidad de contaminaci\u00f3n de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas con nitrato, mostr\u00f3, un comportamiento comparable a un producto comercial de liberaci\u00f3n lenta a
