Env del vih-1 y prote\u00ednas altamente antig\u00e9nicas del vv, p14 y p39. Las prote\u00ednas quim\u00e9ricas han sido caracterizadas, encontr\u00e1ndose diferencias en diversos aspectos tanto estructurales como funcionales. La utilizaci\u00f3n de los recombinantes en protocolos de inmunizaci\u00f3n en ratones ha permitido analizar la respuesta inmunitaria que las prote\u00ednas de fusi\u00f3n son capaces de inducir. Con algunos de los sueros obtenidos mediante la inoculaci\u00f3n de recombinantes de prote\u00ednas de fusi\u00f3n, se pudo demostrar una mayor actividad frente a la prote\u00edna env, y mayor capacidad de neutralizaci\u00f3n de la infecci\u00f3n por vih-1.  las zonas reconocidas por los anticuerpos de estos sueros corresponden a regiones previamente descritas como inmunol\u00f3gicamente importantes, se localizan en regiones constantes y son distintas a la regi\u00f3n v3. En vista de las caracter\u00edsticas inmunol\u00f3gicas mostradas por estas prote\u00ednas de fusi\u00f3n, parece posible que prote\u00ednas quim\u00e9ricas vih-vv pudieran ser candidatos potenciales
