Se realiza una consideraci\u00f3n minuciosa de autores cl\u00e1sicos como kant, schiller o nietzsche, junto a figuras decisivas del pensamiento moderno: adorno, benjamin, bataille o deleuze.  las categor\u00edas de lo feo, lo siniestro y la perversi\u00f3n son puestas en relaci\u00f3n con el problema general de lo sublime. La interpretaci\u00f3n auna las consideraciones est\u00e9ticas con la especulaci\u00f3n de corte metaf\u00edsico. En \u00faltima instancia se advierte que la transformaci\u00f3n o inversi\u00f3n de lo sublime se produce por la asunci\u00f3n de la experiencia de lo tr\u00e1gico.  consideraciones sobre la obra de friedrich o la dimensi\u00f3n post-aur\u00e1tica del arte contempor\u00e1neo convierten a esta tesis doctoral en un trabajo fronterizo en el que tambi\u00e9n se afecta a las disciplinas de la historia historia y cr\u00edtica del arte, as\u00ed como la teor\u00eda literaria y la hermene\u00fatica filos\u00f3fica.  el fen\u00f3meno de la discordancia y el eterno retorno de lo diferente, en una clave que unifica simulaci\u00f3n y violencia generadora de signos aparecen como conclusi\u00f3n de esta tesis que supone un desarrollo transversal de los problemas pero con una intenci\u00f3n eminentemente
