De Aza Moya <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El prop\u00f3sito de la presente tesis ha sido el desarrollo de materiales refractarios, conformados y hormigones, de alta al\u00famina aglomerados fundamentalmente por una matriz de espinela y hexaluminato de calcio, para su aplicaci\u00f3n, en siderurgia.  para dise\u00f1ar apropiadamente dichas matrices se establecieron previamente las relaciones de compatibilidad y de fusi\u00f3n en el sistema ternario: al203- mgo-cao, fundamentalmente en la regi\u00f3n de alto contenido en al\u00famina, datos no disponibles en la literatura cient\u00edfica.  una vez establecido el sistema y teniendo en cuenta la informaci\u00f3n suministrada por el subsistema: monoaluminato de calcio (caal2o4)- espinela (mgal2o4)- dialuminato de calcio (caal4o7), se dise\u00f1\u00f3 y obtuvo un nuevo cemento de aluminatos de calcio conteniendo espinela, mediante el estudio de la sinterizaci\u00f3n reactiva de una mezcla de dolomita y al\u00famina. Dicho proceso ha sido patentado.  posteriormente, a partir de mezclas apropiadas del nuevo cemento y al\u00famina, se ha estudiado y establecido el mecanismo de reacci\u00f3n imperante en la formaci\u00f3n de dichas matrices de espinela (mgal2o4) y hexaluminato de calcio (caal12o19).
