Ello se produjo, por un lado, en oposici\u00f3n a otras corrientes de vanguardia, y, por otro, como un intento de presentar el arte espa\u00f1ol dentro de los foros internacionales en el marco de una modernidad imbuida de nacionalismo.  el autor analiza los fundamentos establecidos por los principales te\u00f3ricos, el papel de la pintura espa\u00f1ola en las bienales hispanoamericanas y en
