Entre las caracter\u00edsticas particulares del islam se halla su calidad de ideolog\u00eda transcendente de naturaleza hol\u00edstica. Esta naturaleza hol\u00edstica del islam implica la existencia, dentro de sus postulados te\u00f3ricos, de una parcela dedicada a lo pol\u00edtico. La relaci\u00f3n que, a nivel de tesis, mantienen los campos de lo pol\u00edtico y de lo espiritual (religioso) en el islam proporcionan el n\u00facleo central de la tesis. A partir de esta premisa se pasa a estudiar cuales son las constantes y las variantes del pensamiento pol\u00edtico en el islam tomando como base sus textos autoritativos, el cor\u00e1n y la sunna, y el desarrollo de las ideas que \u00e9stos contienen por parte de los pensadores musulmanes ocupados y preocupados por la teor\u00eda pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
