La tecnolog\u00eda de desalinizaci\u00f3n elegida es la de \u00f3smosis inversa (o.I.) Ya que es la m\u00e1s utilizada en cuanto a rendimientos y econom\u00eda se refiere, adem\u00e1s de ser un proceso sencillo que requiere poca mano de obra.  se han usado membranas de diferentes caracter\u00edsticas y fabricantes. El pretratamiento consisti\u00f3 en un ajuste de ph, clarificaci\u00f3n y filtraci\u00f3n doble en filtro de arena.  durante la investigaci\u00f3n se obtuvo informaci\u00f3n sobre la vida estimada de las membranas, comportamiento del sistema, necesidades de limpieza, de operaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento, respuesta ante condiciones extremas de operaci\u00f3n y calidad de agua de alimentaci\u00f3n.  la tesis propone, adem\u00e1s, la \u00f3smosis inversa como tecnolog\u00eda prometedora en el tratamiento de aguas, pues es capaz de cumplir con las necesidades de reutilizaci\u00f3n en una central t\u00e9rmica, determinadas a nivel de planta piloto. Se identifica adem\u00e1s el potencial de aplicaci\u00f3n de reutilizaci\u00f3n en la central junto con las necesidades de calidad y cantidad de agua.  asimismo se compara la calidad conseguida en el agua tratada, producto de los diferentes procesos aplicados en la planta piloto, con las aguas de proceso y efluentes existentes en la central t\u00e9rmica estudiada.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
