Xiii en particular, y asumiendo que una posici\u00f3n historiogr\u00e1fica expresa una visi\u00f3n de la historia, una visi\u00f3n del mundo y un modo de entender la filosof\u00eda, se elabora un modelo te\u00f3rico del feudalismo que sirve de marco desde el que se afronta la tesis. Este modelo feudal divide el periodo medieval en dos momentos bien diferenciados: 1) feudalismo \u00abreal\u00bb (ss. Iv-x), caracterizado por el aislamiento aut\u00e1rquico de peque\u00f1as comunidades rurales dentro de una jerarquizada estructura social de econom\u00eda compartida y en la que toda distinci\u00f3n entre propiedad, funci\u00f3n civil o pol\u00edtica y realidad ontol\u00f3gica de las personas quedaban unificadas; 2) feudalismo \u00abjuridizado\u00bb (ss. Xi-xiv), presenta un fuerte impacto del mercado y una din\u00e1mica expansionista que se centra en el desarrollo de la vida urbana. En definitiva, se da el paso desde una sociedad rural a una urbana.  ambos momentos son muy diferentes. Aplicando este modelo al pensamiento del periodo, se configuran dos \u00abmomentos\u00bb que son el proceso desde la teolog\u00eda \u00abmon\u00e1stica\u00bb a la teolog\u00eda \u00abescol\u00e1stica\u00bb, con la filosof\u00eda como \u00abciencia\u00bb, y el nacimiento de las universidades. Uno, en sinton\u00eda con el precepto d]lefico -\u00abconocete a t\u00ed mismo\u00bb (socr\u00e1tico)-, se desenvuelve en la physis como \u00abrealidad emp\u00edrica inmediata\u00bb. El otro, ya de modernidad, se desarrolla dentro de una \u00absebjetividad\u00bb que crea al decirse. Es el \u00abacta de nacimiento\u00bb de un \u00abmundo producto\u00bb. En efecto, el \u00absubjetivismo moderno\u00bb s\u00f3lo fue posible sobre un suelo individualista previo. La vieja cosmovisi\u00f3n unitaria del cosmos, herencia cl\u00e1sica, comienza a ceder a partir del a\u00f1o 1000, ante otra, caracterizada por la pluralidad y la individualidad.  el pseudo-aristot\u00e9lico liber de causis sirve como texto base.
