De los 147 sueros ensayados mediante inmunofluorescencia, el 57.1%, presentaron anticuerpos antinucleares.  dos de los sueros testados, los denominados suero c.B. Y suero j.C., Presentaban reactividad nucleolar, y fueron seleccionados con el fin de caracterizar los autoant\u00edgenos reconocidos.  se han generado sueros policlonales contra distintas regiones expresadas del factor de transcripci\u00f3n ubf de h\u00e1mster, que representa uno de los autoant\u00edgenos del suero c.B. Estos anticuerpos se presentan como una alternativa a la tinci\u00f3n ag-nor, empleada en diagn\u00f3stico histopatol\u00f3gico.  a partir del suero autoinmune c.B. Se han purificado inmunoglobulinas humanas, espec\u00edficas de la prote\u00edna ubf, mediante cromatograf\u00eda de afinidad, y se han identificado regiones de esta prote\u00edna que contienen epitopos implicados en la respuesta autoinmune.  mediante el suero c.B., Se ha identificado, clonado y secuenciado el cdna de un nuevo gen que presenta una expresi\u00f3n diferencial en distintos tejidos de h\u00e1mster.  este gen codifica para una prote\u00edna cuya secuencia contiene una regi\u00f3n rica en ciste\u00ednas que se agrupan de una forma semejante a la que presentan los dominios denominados \u00abdedos de zinc\u00bb. Esta prote\u00edna presenta una regi\u00f3n de amino\u00e1cidos de caracter \u00e1cido.
