Los principales mecanismos de resistencia descritos en bacterias gran negativas son los vinculados a alteraciones en las topoisomerasas bacterianas del grupo ii. El presente estudio pretende determinar las mutaciones gen\u00f3micas m\u00e1s frecuentemente implicadas en dichas alteraciones. Mediante t\u00e9cnicas de amplificaci\u00f3n g\u00e9nica y rflp se estudian los puntos de mutaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s frecuentes en las topoisomerasas ii y iv de e. Coli. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que en todas las cepas resistentes aparece una mutaci\u00f3n en serina 83 en la topoisomerasa ii. En las cepas con alto nivel de resistencia aparecen de forma adicional mutaciones en aspartico 87 en la topoisomerasa ii y en serina 80 en la topoisomerasa iv. Aunque en algunas cepas parecen estar implicados mecanismos de flujo activo su repercusi\u00f3n en los niveles de sensibilidad es muy limitado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
